Do my cleaners need to download an app?
No. Cleaners sign in from the browser on any phone and see only their own jobs, with addresses, access notes and the checklist. They can add it to their home screen so it opens like an app.
Can customers book cleans themselves?
Yes. You get a booking page to share or embed on your website. It only offers times within your working hours and team capacity, and every request waits for you to approve it.
How do recurring cleans work?
Choose weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks or monthly when you create the job. ShineDesk books visits months ahead and keeps extending the series. You can change a single visit or every future one.
Which payment methods can customers use?
Card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through Stripe, PayPal, Cash App and Zelle. Card and PayPal payments mark the invoice paid automatically. Cash App and Zelle payments notify you so you can confirm them.
Does ShineDesk handle payroll?
ShineDesk tracks hours from clock-ins, multiplies them by each cleaner’s pay rate and exports a CSV. You then pay your team however you do today.
Is my data safe?
Passwords are encrypted, every change is protected against forged requests, and card details never touch your account because payments go through Stripe and PayPal directly.
What happens after the free trial?
Pick a plan to keep going. If you don’t, your account simply pauses. There’s nothing to cancel and no card was taken.
